Segregated modeling of continuous heat treatment furnaces

A segregated numerical approach has been proposed for the modeling of the multi-mode heat transfer to the moving glasses inside a continuous glassware annealing furnace. Segregated numerical approach showed a fast convergence behavior requiring only 4 iterations to converge both for the heating and cooling sections of the furnace. Read more
